In-home Fine Art Photography Service

“Fine Art to Nourish the Heart and Mind”

Ever want to do something about that bare wall, but didn’t exactly now how to proceed? Have an idea for a pictures but don’t know how to find what you want? Intimidated by the thought of making all those tricky design decisions around framing?

Our "Passion for Pictures™" in-home fine art photography service solves all these problems and gives you a pleasant and aesthetic experience to boot. The concept is simple: we bring art and framing to you, on your own schedule, at your own pace. Our goal is to put fine art in your home that you love and want to share with everyone.

How it Works:

Beginning with a get-acquainted visit in your home, we’ll discuss ideas and get to know you. We take into account your personal style, your tastes and interests, even specific visual ideas you may want to explore. On the second visit you will be offered a portfolio of images to choose from, that we think will fit your needs and personality. Once you have selected an image (or several if you wish) we return to the studio to print the work at the selected size, for your approval. As you review the prints, you’ll also be presented with recommended frame samples and mat colors to choose from. On the final visit, we bring over your beautiful new framed art, and hang it for you, exactly where you want it.

Result: fine art that makes you happy and are proud to share with family, friends and guests.

There is no obligation until you decide on specific art to have in your home. Print prices are primarily based on size and the kind of edition the print belongs to. Open edition prints are less expensive, limited edition prints are deemed to have investment value and are priced accordingly. Since we have our own framing studio, we offer custom conservation-grade framing at significantly lower than retail pricing. You will be given a detailed cost breakdown at each stage, before any work is done.

Portraits

Eric is a skilled portraitist, and loves shooting them. He prefers to employ natural light to create intimate, personal works of art for each sitter. Eric attempts to capture the special inner quality of the subject, which he fees cannot be done in a sterile studio environment in which each person is posed in similar ways in front of standard lights and backdrops.

“This style of shooting is more difficult and requires more artistic skill that studio work, but the results are far more rewarding for everyone.” he says,” For one thing, we get to know each other as people, so we’re all invested in working together to create a special portrait. By taking the time to understand my subject’s life and personality, the resulting portraits seem much more unique and satisfying than cheap cookie-cutter pictures. As a capture of the special individuality of each person at a given moment, these images also become more valuable to their owners over time, like an heirloom.”

Pricing is based on a shooting fee plus prints of various sizes and optional frames selected by the purchaser. Call 717 527-2228 for details.
